December 7, 2011 - Over 250 veterans attended Senator Baddour's 5th Annual Veterans' Appreciation Event at the Veterans' Northeast Outreach Center in Haverhill on Wednesday, December 7th.
Senator Baddour annually hosts the event to thank our veterans who have sacrificed time at home and with their families to protect our freedoms.
The event is held annually in honor of Pearl Harbor Day and is open to all veterans, active duty military personnel, and their families. A complimentary brunch is served.
This year's crowd was the largest ever and featured several prominent speakers, including Massachusetts Treasurer and Receiver General Steve Grossman, Secretary of the Department of Veterans' Services Coleman Nee, and Major General Joseph Carter.
